Dear Daniel - We have to admit - Taco Tuesday night literally brought several of us to tears. It wasn't just seeing everyone from a safe distance again, although that was so encouraging and life-giving. It wasn't just the tacos, although they were pretty tasty. It was also seeing the inspiring generosity of the Saddleback Lake Forest family once again, in the form of 18 pallets stacked high with critically low items the food bank is in desperate need of. Thank you, sincerely, for making our day, not only by dropping by and giving us the chance to see you, but also by helping us continue loving our neighbors in Christlike fashion in the face of mounting joblessness, uncertainty, and financial strain. This week we wanted to highlight a few opportunities to do a little "spring training" of our own, stay connected to others in our church, and meet a vital need our local medical community. In the meantime, we hope and pray that you, your family, and friends are healthy, hopeful, and resting in God's peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7) during these unique times. We love you and can't wait to see you soon!
